Bevestiging van registratie verplicht voor houders van een .cn domeinnaam
Vrijdag 2 juli 2010, 11:00 - CNNIC, de registry van .cn, mailt deze dagen alle houders van een .cn-domeinnaam met een verzoek om hun registratie te bevestigen. De registratiedatum is daarbij niet van belang: ook domeinhouders die al jaren lang een of meerdere .cn-domeinen geregistreerd hebben, moeten hun registratie bevestigen.De e-mail, waarvan u hieronder een voorbeeld ziet, bevat een link waarmee u, door erop te klikken, uw registratie bevestigt. U moet dit doen binnen 15 dagen na ontvangst van de e-mail, anders loopt u het risico dat uw domein wordt opgeheven.
NB: Dit is dus geen spam, maar een officieel bericht van CNNIC, dat beslist serieus genomen moet worden! De betrokken resellers hebben hier reeds een aparte e-mail over ontvangen.
